Studio Etiquette

Review our etiquettes below. If you have any questions, please don't hestitate to reach out to us.

1. Arrive on Time

Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to settle in, fill out any necessary forms, and prepare for class. Late arrivals may disrupt the flow of the session and will be accommodated at the instructor’s discretion.

2. Silence Devices

Keep mobile phones and other devices on silent or turned off to maintain a calm, focused environment.

3. Wear Appropriate Attire

Dress in comfortable, form-fitting workout clothing that allows for full range of motion. Avoid loose or baggy clothing, as instructors need to see your alignment and posture. Wear grip socks, we are a sock-based studio for hygienic reasons. Please do not walk barefoot. If you come to class and do not have grip socks, you will have to purchase a pair from the reception desk. No socks, no class!

4. Respect Personal Space

Maintain a mindful distance from other participants and keep voices low before and after class. Our studio fosters a peaceful atmosphere for everyone’s benefit.

5. Cleanliness & Hygiene

Please wipe down your mat and equipment after use with the provided cleaning supplies. Consider bringing your own towel to stay fresh throughout your session.

6. Listen to Your Body

If an exercise feels uncomfortable or painful, let the instructor know. We encourage modifications and adjustments to ensure a safe, beneficial practice.

7. Communicate Health Concerns

Inform your instructor of any injuries, medical conditions, or recent surgeries before class begins. This allows us to offer appropriate modifications.

8. Follow Instructor Guidance

Instructors are here to help you get the most out of your practice. Follow their cues and corrections to maintain proper alignment and avoid injury.

9. Practice Mindful Breathing

“Saans” means “breath,” and breathwork is central to Pilates. Stay present, focusing on each inhale and exhale to connect mind, body, and movement.

10. Positive Environment

We strive to create a supportive community. Be courteous, encouraging, and respectful of all clients and staff.

By observing these guidelines, you help us uphold the calming, nurturing spirit of Saans Pilates and Wellness Studio, ensuring that everyone can breathe better, move better, and feel better in our shared space.
